Comfy single room at the heart of Streatham

Good value for money, basic accommodation perfect for crashing after busy day visiting friends Positive: Good bus links, quiet house, quiet neighbourhood, easy check in,

We didn’t stay and tried to cancel - owner ignored request. Positive: We didn’t Negative: We did not know it was in someone’s house. They didn’t know what room they had put us in, so they opened everyone’s private door to see if the room was empty, invading other’s privacy. We left right away - only their small children were in the kitchen so we did not get a chance to tell them. I have tried to cancel, as we did not stay there, but they have not responded.

Was able to get some sleep but not as expected Positive: Bed was clean. Location worked Negative: Advertised with electric charging - no provision provided so made journey home harder. No towels provided. Gene is lovely but her mother was left running the place who didn’t know what was going on Arrived with a friend and upon later understanding we had two single rooms booked were told, o thank god, I thought you were in the same room. We’re not gay, but if we were then wouldn’t have felt welcome! Wouldn’t take much to improve and house is nice, stuff everywhere, other people’s clothes in wardrobes, things piled in boxes etc. But experience let down by attitude and level of attention to detail

Did the job for a goods night sleep. Positive: Location was good for competing in the London to Brighton bike ride. Bed was comfy and the shower was good. Negative: Upon arrival there was no owner / staff at the property and it wasn't clear at first which room was mine.
